  • Entrance to the plantation is entirely at customers’ own risk and Ripponden Christmas Tree Farm accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred.
  • Please drive slowly and carefully in the car park.  It is on a gradient and some of the ground becomes slippery when wet.  Ensure you park in gear and with the handbrake firmly on!
  • Parking is at customers’ own risk and Ripponden Christmas Tree Farm accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred to vehicles whilst on site.
  • There is NO vehicle access beyond the car parking area.  Any vehicle becoming stuck in the field will be removed at the customers’ expense.
  • Plant and equipment, including quad bikes, trailers and chainsaws will be in use.  All plant and equipment is for staff use only and not for customer use under any circumstances.
  • The plantation is only suitable for foot access, and only for those whose fitness & mobility would be described as normal.  If you contact us in advance, we will endeavour to provide access assistance if required.
  • Please be aware there are ruts and holes in the ground in parts of the plantation.  Customers should make themselves aware of the ground conditions around them to minimise the risk of slips trips & falls.
  • Please ensure you are dressed appropriately and according to the weather conditions.  Wellies, boots, warm clothing and waterproofs are usually a “must”.  Remember that we are in the Pennines and it is winter 🙂
  • We reserve the right to close the plantation in the event of extreme weather conditions.
